  Lee Seung Yoon

  Lee Seung Yoon is a busy man – and has been since his youth. The singer–songwriter from South Korea first appeared in the early 2010s as a member of the indie band Dda Band before devoting himself to his solo career. This took him to stages across the country and eventually to the talent show Sing Again, where he took first place and instantly became a celebrated musician. But Lee doesn’t want fame and fortune at any price; rather, he wants to realise his vision first. With epic concept albums such as Even If Things Fall Apart (2021) and the cinematically produced Shelter Of Dreams (2022), he proves to everyone that he is more than just another pop star. Between progressive rock and orchestral soundtracks, balladic songwriter folk and minimalist art pop, Lee sings his way into the hearts of an audience that has now declared him one of South Korea’s most influential artists. His latest album, ‘Yeok Seong’ (2024), underscores this position and finally opens the world’s stages to the ambitious multi-instrumentalist and arranger.
