Dream pop for the broken heart. Desire is an electronic band formed on the snowy streets of Montreal & currently based in Los Angeles. On stage, vocalist Megan Louise pivots between French & English while draped in latex from head to toe. Joined by multi-instrumentalist Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy).
As a flagship artist of the influential record label Italians Do It Better, they have scored runways for Versace, Fendi, Dior, Chanel, & Bottega Venetta as well writing music for films by Nicolas Refn, David Lynch, & Ryan Gosling. Desire gained worldwide exposure with their hit song “Under Your Spell,” which was featured prominently in 2011's neon noir film, Drive. In 2019, Desire co-headlined the Double Exposure world tour with label mates Chromatics. The performances were complete sonic & visual emersion for the audience. Their brand of 1980's infused synth wave was accompanied by ultra-vivid surrealist films projected throughout their set.
