Espen Lind er endelig tilbake – og tar med fullt band til Kongsberg Jazzfestival.
En av Norges mest respekterte og folkekjære artister inviterer til en varm og stemningsfull sommerkveld på Gamle Norge, fylt med låter vi alle kjenner, og nye tolkninger mange har fått et nært forhold til gjennom Hver gang vi møtes.
Espen Lind slo gjennom på slutten av 90-tallet med When Susannah Cries, og har siden bygget en helt unik karriere – både som artist, låtskriver og produsent. Han har skrevet internasjonale hits for blant andre Beyoncé, Taylor Swift og Train, vært mentor i The Voice gjennom en årrekke, og fortsetter å utforske nye uttrykk på scenen. En sjelden kombinasjon av bred appell, solid håndverk og ekte formidling.

Espen Lind
Espen Lind is an award-winning songwriter, producer, and recording artist, and one of the most influential figures in Norwegian pop music. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with When Susannah Cries, a ballad that topped charts across Europe and became a timeless classic. His breakthrough album Red sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and earned him the Spellemannprisen for Artist of the Year. Lind went on to co-write global hits such as Beyoncé’s Irreplaceable (Billboard #1 for ten weeks) and Train’s Hey, Soul Sister, one of the best-selling singles of the 2010s. His writing and production credits include Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, and Mark Owen of Take That. In Norway, he has worked with Sissel Kyrkjebø, Ingebjørg Bratland, Kurt Nilsen, and Vamp – whose Liten fuggel was the country’s best-selling album in 2012. In 2025, Lind composed the original score for NRK’s critically acclaimed drama Rekviem for Selina. He took part in the Norwegian TV success Hver gang vi møtes in 2026.
