Hvar er hausinn? (Where is my mind?) Art Exhibition

What is it like to lose touch with your own thoughts? The lights are on, but nobody's home?
In the exhibition "Where is my mind?", Lauga explores the experience of not being able to find your thoughts. The manifestation can vary; Sometimes it feels like having to swim through a thick layer of seaweed, sometimes a song is playing on full blast, and sometimes the mind simply drifts far off into distant castles in the sky. Whatever the case may be, it can be difficult to "hear" your own thoughts.
The exhibition conveys the experience of a middle-aged woman navigating menopause, burnout, and surely a few other things (though you certainly don't have to be a middle-aged woman going through menopause to experience this feeling...) but who nevertheless does her best to create something beautiful and positive, enjoy life, and have fun.
On display are seven brand-new linocut prints created this summer. The exhibition was first set up in July at 71°N in Gamvik, Norway, and is a direct continuation of the exhibition Heilaþoka (Brain Fog) from 2024.
