The Sigurður Flosason Quartet plays groovy music that mixes jazz and blues. The members of the band span different generations and are all experienced players of the Icelandic jazz scene; Sigurður on saxophone, Agnar Már Magnússon on Hammond organ, Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson on guitar and Einar Scheving on drums. The quartet will play melodic compositions by Flosason from his most recent CD.

Múlinn Jazzklúbbur
Múlinn’s program is ambitious, diverse and a good example of the liveliness that characterizes the Icelandic jazz scene. Visitors can listen to top quality jazz at a reasonable price with a great view over the harbor. Múlinn is a cooperation between Félags Íslenskra Hljómlistarmanna (FÍH) and Jazzvakningar. The club is named after Jón Múli Árnason who was also an honorary member and patron of Múlinn. Múlinn was founded in the fall 1997 but the first concert took place in the beginning of 1998. Múlinn is funded by The City of Reykjavík and The Iceland Music Fund and is in collaboration with The World Music Club and Harpa.
