Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are an indie-rock four-piece from Canberra, Australia (Anna Ryan on vocals/guitar, Scarlett McKahey on guitar/vocals, Jaida Stephenson on bass and Neve van Boxsel on drums) and they are completely, unapologetically themselves.

Their second album GLORY, recorded over five weeks in a bush studio on the NSW Central Coast with Catherine Marks (boygenius, Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey, The Killers), debuted at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart on release in November 2025.

GLORY is music to strut to. It's part Skins, part 90s teen movie soundtrack. It's the sound of getting the bus home after a night out, mascara smeared and battery on 1%. It's about knowing your worth and not being afraid to take up space. It's screeching, screaming, rumbling, fun and fierce. It's an adrenaline shot to the arm, a Jagerbomb at the bar, the conspiratorial eye roll you share with a girlfriend when a loser guy is talking. It's Cher Horowitz exclaiming "Ugh, as if!" in Clueless. Lead single 'BALCONY' is a high-voltage anthem about feeling yourself, being flirty and getting kicked out of the bar before you get a chance to make out with your target.

Their debut album I Love You (2023) announced them as a serious force: an ARIA Award win, being named as Spotify’s one to watch, support slots with Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters across Australia and the US, and sellout shows on both sides of the world followed. GLORY is the victory lap.
