Samvera - æfum íslensku í náttúrunni

Samvera (Common Ground) is a weekly event that brings together Icelandic learners and Icelandic speakers. Together, we will get to know each other over coffee, chat about Icelandic nature and society, and practice the language in a safe and friendly environment while enjoying being outdoors.

We will explore walking paths around Gerðuberg.

When: 18 apríl til 30 maí, then 5 september til 26 september, from 11:30 to 13:30

Where: The group meets first at the library in Gerðuberg to have coffee and chat, then we will go for a light walk in the surrounding area, including in Elliðaárdalur.

Note: When the weather is bad, we will stay in the library and play board games.

The walk will be led by teachers of Icelandic as a second language.

The library is on the top floor of the building at Gerðuberg 3-5 in Breiðholt. Buses: 3, 4, 12, 17 (stop: FB).
