Kinn Brewery was established in 2009 in Florø, a small town situated by the fjords on the west coast of Norway. The brewmaster and founder, Espen Lothe, started brewing in his own home, but a growing interest in the craftsmanship led to a full-fledged brewery where the slogan “Doing it the old-fashioned way” was put to work. The commitment to tradition, craftsmanship and fine taste are the qualities that make Kinn Brewery beers attractive and unique. Open fermentation tanks, bottle conditioning and zero filtration and pasteurisation – has remained the same since the very beginning. Enjoy a guided tour of the pilot brewery and their beer café, called Vesle Kinn, where they also are experimenting with different types of oak barrels to make sour beers. The tour is including glasses with samples of beer. Visitors can enter the brewery premise and learn about the brewing process and the history of Kinn Brewery.
