W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland is inviting you to our annual general assembly! Join us on Thursday, November 12th, 2026, from 19:00–21:00 at Hallveigarstaðir, Túngata 14, 101 Reykjavík. W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland is a volunteer-based organization. Our annual general assembly is a time to celebrate our achievements, plan for the future, and elect new board members who will help carry our mission forward.

Do you want to run for a seat on the board? Every year, W.O.M.E.N. is looking for motivated women to join our team! We are looking for all sorts of skills in community organising, social media, public speaking, or psychology, but most of all we are looking for motivation and dedication. Icelandic is not a requirement, but it’s a plus. Check our website and mission statement to learn more. If you are interested, send your application at info@womeniniceland.is before by the 8th of November with: -Your full name -Languages you speak -A short paragraph on why you’d like to join us, how you’d like to contribue -And a recent picture of yourself To run as a candidate, you need to be a paying member in 2026 Board members are elected for 2 years, and alternates for 1 year.
