Nouvelle Vague, the renowned bossa nova project founded by Marc Collin and the late Olivier Libaux in 2003, are returning to the UK in style in Spring 2027 to celebrate the release of their seventh album, A Date with Depeche Mode.

Nouvelle Vague are reinventing themselves again by dedicating an entire album to the repertoire of a single band for the first time: Depeche Mode. Thirteen iconic songs have been recreated and reinterpreted by new voices. Recorded in Rio with Brazilian musicians, the album establishes a dialogue between the musical soul of Brazil and Depeche Mode's timeless world, revisited with the Nouvelle Vague touch.

The first single from 'A Date with Depeche Mode' is a duet of 'Enjoy the Silence' performed by Skye Edwards (Morcheeba) and Larry Love (Alabama 3) alongside Nouvelle Vague. Two voices, two worlds — one song. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro with some of Brazil's best musicians, the track strips back the Depeche Mode classic to breathe new life into it.

Nouvelle Vague at their best.

This bespoke tour by a band at the very top of their game is not to be missed.

Nouvelle Vague (France) is a project created by French musicians Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux.

20 years after the release of its first eponymous album, which has since become

a classic, the French group Nouvelle Vague is back!

More than covers, Nouvelle Vague has been reinventing post-punk classics since

the early 2000s, retaining their melancholy while infusing them with an air of

bossa nova, revealing along the way singers who have become iconic such as

Camille, Phoebe Killdeer, Melanie Pain or Elodie Frege.

The group is released their new album, “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” on February 16, 2024. And to go along with its 20th anniversary, Nouvelle Vague is on a massive

world tour in 2024 and 2025.
