Spacestation bring their second album, Who Killed Spacestation?, to Reykjavík City Hall for Iceland Airwaves 2026.
The Reykjavík four-piece pair distorted guitars, feedback and driving rhythms with melodic songwriting in Icelandic and English. Drawing on shoegaze, psychedelia and krautrock, their live shows leave room for extended arrangements, drone-heavy endings and improvisation.
Released through Alda Music in September, Who Killed Spacestation? received four stars from RÚV, praising its catchy songwriting and palpable joy of playing. It follows “Í Draumalandinu”, X977’s most-played song of 2024 and Rock Song of the Year at the 2025 Icelandic Music Awards.
The band return from their second European tour, including Reeperbahn Festival and Waves Vienna.
