Completing a three-year odyssey of southern hemisphere visits, the legendary Gillian Welch & David Rawlings head south once again this February to fulfil a promise to visit as many towns in Australia and New Zealand as they can.
With a musical style across traditional Appalachian, bluegrass, country, Americana and folk sounds, the Grammy Award winning duo will perform shows in Perth, Launceston, Forth, Queenstown and Hobart in Tasmania, Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Wellington and Christchurch in New Zealand.
It will be the duo’s first visits to Tasmania and the South Island of New Zealand ever, and the first shows in Western Australia and the rest of New Zealand in over 10 years.
