Visitors get an insight into the artist's working methods and have the opportunity to watch a work of art being created!
Kristbergur studied at the Icelandic School of Art and Crafts and at the Royal Academy in Amsterdam. He has had numerous solo exhibitions as well as participating in group exhibitions at home and abroad. Works by Kristbergur are owned by several major art museums in the country, including the National Gallery of Iceland, the Reykjavík Art Museum, the Reykjanesbær Art Museum and Hafnarborg. Kristbergur works in various media, including oil, watercolor and graphics. Kristbergur has been involved in poetry writing for several years, and poetry has been a significant part of his work in recent years.
Kristbergur will greet visitors in Gallery Fold on Reykjavík's Culture Night from 2-4.
