His mother was an opera singer, his father a music fanatic. It is therefore hardly surprising that Jude York showed great creative ambition at a young age. The Australian singer–songwriter was born with a lot of talent and in a musical upbringing in which dedication to art always played a major role. Tracks he arranged himself – such as ‘Those Were The Days’ and ‘Monaco’ (2024) – have brought him to the attention of a global audience, especially in the past year. Now, of course, he is coming to Hamburg on his first extensive festival tour.
