The acclaimed Faroese singer-songwriter Guðrið Hansdóttir is returning to Iceland in October 2026! To celebrate the release of her brilliant 7th studio album, Sýrublað,

Guðrið is embarking on a comprehensive tour around Iceland, performing 9 concerts from October 21st to October 29th.

The album Sýrublað (meaning Sorrel Leaf) was released earlier this year to high acclaim. Describing the vibe, Guðrið says: "The music is like biting into a sorrel leaf – fresh, crisp, green, and a little sour." Produced by Høgni Lisberg, the album delivers the captivating, dreamy indie-pop soundscape that Guðrið is celebrated for. An established icon of the Faroese and Nordic music scene since the millennium, Guðrið is known both for her solo career and her work with the electro-pop duo BYRTA.

Her previous solo effort, Gult myrkur, swept the Faroese Music Awards (FMA), winning Album of the Year. For this special Icelandic road trip, Guðrið is joined on stage by two talented musicians, promising a beautifully rich and intimate live performance.
