Biffy ClyroSince Teenage Joans first burst onto the stage in late 2018, they have left their shining charisma and punk spirit in every room they play. Not only does this two piece pop-punk powerhouse play beautifully crafted songs that have audiences singing along the first time they hear them, but the songs are as real and important as they are unapologetic.
Going from strength to strength, Teenage Joans have already shared stages with Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Sleeing With Sirens, and Amy Shark. In their massive debut year, Teenage Joans performed at Laneway Festival 2019 as part of the Girls Rock! Showcase, and since have played hugely impactful sets at SXSW 23, Bigsound 22, and Groovin The Moo 23.
Before taking out the crown in triple j's Unearthed High 2020, Teenage Joans were voted ‘South Australian Best Live Act’ in the 2019 National Live Music Awards, and currently hold the title of South Australias ‘Best Punk Artist’ since 2021. They also hold the record for most awards in one night at the South Australian Music Awards, bringing home a whopping 7 awards in the 2021 ceremony.
Teenage Joans have undoubtedly followed up their award winning EP “Taste Of Me” with their stunning ARIA nominated album “The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest”. The debut is “one that reflects both creative and professional growth with compelling dexterity” (The Soundcheck). -

The name of the band came into being by chance: The bassist of the band, Jan-Dirk Poggemann wanted to name the band like the pastries donuts, but he wrote the name the wrong way by mistake. The other band members liked the name, because they found their philosophy in the name (donots = do nothing, like slackers), so they retained the name. Very rarely the band calls themselves "Ibbtown Rockers" because of their provenance.

Raus in die Welt, raus aus der beschaulich, lila blühenden Heimat! Mit diesem Ziel gründen fünf Jungs, die auf der Suche nach mehr sind, als nur der Idylle der heimischen Lüneburger Heide, eine Band – Drei Meter Feldweg soll sie heißen – ein Name, der wirklich keine hohen Erwartungen schürt und eine maßlose Untertreibung, wie sich schnell herausstellt. Denn seit diesem schicksalhaften Tag ist viel passiert: Die Band hat sich in den letzten Jahren mit Chartplatzierungen, ausverkauften Tourneen und Shows auf den größten Festivals des Landes einen festen Namen in der Musiklandschaft erarbeitet.
Drei Meter Feldweg sind Meister in der Kunst, Themen, die auf den ersten Blick gegensätzlich erscheinen, zu vereinen und zu so einem stimmigen Gesamtbild zu verschmelzen, das neugierig macht und nach mehr schreit:
Sie machen sich laut gegen rechts und singen in leisen Tönen von der Liebe, sie wünschen sich Sommer, Bier und Festivals, nachdem sie von Weltuntergangsstimmung, Fremdenhass und Verlustängsten erzählt haben. Auf der Bühne liefern sie sich untereinander hitzige Wortgefechte und liegen sich nach dem nächsten Song wieder lachend in den Armen, sorgen für ein ausgewachsenes Moshpit gleich nach einem kitschigen Handy-Lichtermeer. Sie spielen im kleinsten Club hinter der nächsten Milchkanne und gleich danach auf den größten Festivalbühnen. Was sicher ist: Drei Meter Feldweg garantieren einen musikalischen Exzess mit ansteckender guter Laune. The Red FlagsThe story behind this band reads a bit like a good, yet-to-be-made coming-of-age film: midway through the pandemic, Polly, Murphy, Mika and Joe join up and start a band as part of a school project. They write songs, jam in the rehearsal room. Then last year, something big comes along: Jan Böhmermann invites them to perform on the main stage at Rock am Ring - in four days.
