American comedian, poet, and performance artist ALOK will perform at Tjarnarbíó Theatre in Reykjavík on August 4.

In recent years, ALOK has gained international recognition for performances that blend stand-up comedy, spoken word, and personal storytelling.

Sindri “Sparkle” Freyja is a writer, comedian, actress, and way too many other things.

The last few years, they have made a name for themselves in the English-speaking fringe art scenes of Reykjavík, eventually transitioning to acting on some of the most saught after stages of the city. Despite that, they are still most known for appearing naked on national TV.

They have toured their comedy shows internationally and won multiple awards, such as The Nordic Fringe Network Award from NFN, The Rising Star Award from Reykjavík Fringe Festival, and the highest grade in English from Menntaskólinn í Hamrahlíð.
