DJ Vadim is a globally respected DJ, producer, and label founder whose career has spanned more than two decades of musical innovation. Born in Russia and based in London, he built his reputation as one of the world’s leading independent artists through a relentless commitment to creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Often described as the “John Coltrane of hip hop,” Vadim has toured over 77 countries, performed more than 3,000 shows, and developed a sound that seamlessly blends hip hop, reggae, soul, funk, dub, bass music, house, and global rhythms into a style uniquely his own.
After founding the Jazz Fudge label in 1994 and signing with Ninja Tune a year later, Vadim established himself as a pioneering force in underground music.
