TriggerfingerThe Antwerp, Belgium based trio (Ruben Block, vocals & guitar; Paul Van Bruystegem, bass; Mario Goossens, drums) have built a solid reputation across Europe and Canada as one of the hardest-driving and sharpest dressed bands around. With their self-titled debut album (2004), What Grabs Ya (2008), All This Dancing Around (2010) and By Absence of the Sun (2014) they’ve become a mainstay on the rock scene (the last two going platinum and gold, respectively). Their impromptu cover of the Lykke Li song I Follow Rivers became a major hit across Europe in 2012, and they were invited to open for The Rolling Stones in 2013 and 2014. In 2017, the threepiece released 'Colossus', an album on which they introduced some new flavors to their vintage sound.
Since the release of ‘Colossus’ and the subsequent live tour across Europe & Canada, a number of things have shifted.
Paul decided he wasn’t up for too much touring anymore so Mario and Ruben needed to figure out the next step. Besides exploring other adventures, they strongly felt the urge to write new music together, resulting in a new Triggerfinger album which will see the light of day early 2026.
In the meantime they've come out to play some gigs to keep in touch with that other half of their bond: being on stage, playing live, connecting with people.
Both are excited to get back out there.
With new music.
Stay tuned.

Phil Campbell & The Bastard SonsOriginally formed as a side project towards the last couple of years of Motörhead by Phil Campbell, the former Motörheadguitarist of 32 years, the band decided to take it up a level and revealed the new name of PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS at Wacken Open Air 2016. A self-titled EP was released a few months later. Led by one of the genre’s most respected guitarists and completed by his sons Todd, Tyla and Dane the band emerged onto the 2017 touring circuit powered by a huge amount of good will, a smattering ofMotörhead covers and a handful of new songs that crackled with passion and swagger. Landing themselves a prestigious support slot on GUNS N’ ROSES 2017 summer stadium run, the BASTARD SONS hit the ground running.
By the time the band released their debut album, The Age OfAbsurdity, in January 2018, this honest rock ‘n’ roll enterprise had organically blossomed into a pretty big deal. The album garnered widespread great reviews, picking up a trophy for ‘Best Debut Album’ at Metal Hammer Germany’s 2018 awards. Two years later, recorded and engineered duringlockdown by guitarist Todd Campbell, the second album was just the tonic people needed. It’s called We’re The Bastardsand it was bigger, better and even more raucously upliftingthan its predecessor with top 40 national chart entries in 4 countries!
Shortly after the band announced to the world the recruitment of new powerhouse lead singer Joel Peters in January 2022, the band entered their studio at Stompbox Studios, SouthWales, UK and began writing and recording the album at the beginning of 2022.
After putting the songwriting groundwork in throughout the Spring, the bastards then entered their busiest festival season to date including performances at major festivals such asWacken Open Air, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting and many more throughout the summer of 2023. After the busy festival season the band then had time to reconvene to put thefinishing touches on their new album, Kings Of The Asylum.
Phil Campbell commented “It’s been a great experience writing this album alongside Joel and the rest of my lads. We’ve come up with some monstrous riffs and hooks for your listening pleasure. We can’t wait to play some of these songs at some of our old favourites towns and cities and visiting some new places too!”
Joel Peters added: “I’ve had great fun working on this album alongside Phil and the boys and this is an album I am immensely proud of! Looking forward to everyone hearing it and touring these songs for the first time! We’ve got some definite bangers here!”
Kings Of The Asylum picks up where We’re The Bastardsleft off: you get eleven hard-hitting, honest-to-the-bone heavy rock cuts, including stand-out singles such as the stadium rock hymn ‘Strike The Match’ and the fast paced banger ‘Too Much Is Never Enough’. This is the definitive version of PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS – the band has further perfected its timeless yet invigorating in-your-face hard rock and they are looking forward to presenting their explosive new material live this fall… on stages across Europe!
