Donkeyboy are ready for another unforgettable night in Oslo as they take over Sentrum Scene on Saturday, January 16th, 2027.

When their concert at Rockefeller Music Hall sold out within minutes, Donkeyboy confirmed what audiences already know: this is a band people truly want to experience live. Now, they’re preparing to create an evening filled with singalongs, nostalgia, and unforgettable moments at Sentrum Scene.

Since their breakthrough in 2009, Donkeyboy have delivered some of Norway’s biggest pop songs, with classics like “Ambitions”, “Sometimes”, “City Boy”, and “Crazy Something Normal” becoming the soundtrack to countless memories. With massive choruses, driving synth lines, and infectious energy, the band has built a unique position on the Scandinavian pop scene.

At the heart of Donkeyboy are brothers Cato Sundberg and Kent Sundberg, alongside Peter Michelsen and Thomas Drabløs. As always, the live lineup expands with additional musicians — and there may even be a few surprises along the way. One thing is certain: audiences can expect a live show that hits straight to the heart while keeping the entire venue moving from start to finish.

Over the past months, Donkeyboy have released new music, with even more on the way. Following a highly successful tour this spring and an incredible response from fans, the band is once again ready for an exclusive night in Oslo — featuring new songs, old favorites, and that unmistakable Donkeyboy atmosphere.

This is a night you do not want to miss.

Donkeyboy is a synth-pop band hailing from Drammen, Norway, formed in 2005. The lineup features brothers Cato Sundberg (vocals, guitar) and Kent Sundberg (synth, vocals), alongside Peter Michelsen (guitar, backing vocals) and Thomas Drabløs (drums). Their music seamlessly blends elements of pop and rock, drawing inspiration from artists like Pet Shop Boys, Tom Petty, and Fleetwood Mac.

Their debut single, "Ambitions," released in 2009, dominated the Norwegian charts for 12 consecutive weeks and was later succeeded by their second single, "Sometimes," marking the first time a Norwegian artist replaced themselves at the number one spot. Both tracks were featured on their debut album, Caught in a Life, which achieved triple platinum status in Norway.

In 2011, Donkeyboy received the European Border Breakers Award, recognizing their international success. Their sophomore album, Silver Moon (2012), included the hit "City Boy," which topped charts in both Norway and Denmark. Subsequent releases like "Triggerfinger" (2013), featuring Canadian singer Kiesza, and "Crazy Something Normal" (2014) showcased their evolving sound. Their third album, Lost, was released in 2016.

Beyond their own projects, Cato and Kent Sundberg have ventured into production and songwriting through their project, Rat City. Donkeyboy's enduring presence in the Scandinavian pop scene is marked by their catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and innovative approach to synth-pop.
