Jon AnnHailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Jon Ann is a pub punk force led by the fierce and unapologetic Christie – a frontwoman whose raw power and feminist fire have become the band’s signature. Their sound is gritty, defiant, and speaks directly to a generation sick of being talked down to – a rallying cry for the fed up and the fired up.
Their 2023 single “F With Me” didn’t just make noise- it was named Adelaide’s Best Release of 2023 via City Mag ADL, launching the band into underground recognition, especially across Europe’s punk and alternative scenes. Fierce, unapologetic, and soaked in intent, the track solidified Jon Ann as one of Australia’s most vital emerging acts, with their tracks being found in the playlists of countless punk fans around the world.
Jon Ann has been continuing to push their sound to new heights while keeping their pub punk roots healthy. Working with industry leading engineers including ARIA award winning Anton Hagop and George Georgiadis from the renowned Little Wing Sound, Jon Ann pushes a massive sound to those hungry for chaos and honesty.
With blistering live shows, sharp-edged lyrics and a fearless female voice at the helm, Jon Ann is more than just a band –they’re a movement with boots on the ground and a mic in the air.
Jon Ann simply cannot be ignored.

TISMTISM (an acronym of This Is Serious Mum) are an Australian alternative rock band from Melbourne.
The true identities of the members of TISM have been kept secret. For this reason, the band often appear in balaclavas when they play concerts, although they have also been known to indulge in ridiculously complex costumery to the same end. They have been thought to have been influenced by The Residents in this regard.
Numerous rumours have arisen as to why the members of TISM do not reveal their identities. One of which is that due to the highly controversial nature of their lyrics, if people were to know their true identities they could risk legal action. Another is that they are all, in fact, school teachers and need to keep their reputation in check. The latter theory is supported by the fact that the band's tour dates virtually always coincide with school holidays.
The band members have created pseudonyms for themselves.
Current known members include:
* Ron Hitler-Barassi: Vocals
* Humphrey B. Flaubert: Vocals

RatcatRATCAT - A short biography Although rare occurrence to catch this ground breaking Australian act performing live, RATCAT remain permanently placed in the indie hall of fame for dragging Australian music culture out of a stagnant pub rock 80’s phase and bringing alternate pop/punk guitar rock to the masses during the late 80’s / early 1990’s. Being at the forefront of an international musical change of direction which witnessed the boundaries between the independent & commercial sectors literally smashed to oblivion, RATCAT’s incredible rise to popularity was the result of public demand and with virtually no mass marketing (at the time). Ratcat released the ground breaking ‘Tingles’ EP in 1990 (after a spate of independent releases via the Waterfront Label) which - & with no fanfare whatsoever - made a steady climb to the top of the National Top Forty after 7 months ‘Tingles’ thereafter scored the accolade of becoming the highest selling EP of that year. Featuring the ‘sleeper’ hit ‘That Ain’t Bad’, it did herald the beginning of a new musical era that would resonate worldwide not but 14 months later courtesy of a Seattle based 3 piece known as Nirvana & their ground breaking album, ‘Nevermind’. The subsequent release of the ‘Blind Love’ album resulted in yet another number 1 chart result & again to the complete surprise of the band members and all involved at the time, Ratcat also scored a coinciding duel number one with the single ‘Don’t Go Now’ (aria singles charts). -

Tim RogersTim Rogers is best known as the guitarist, singer, and primary songwriter of the Australian rock band You Am I, who were the poster boys of alternative rock within Australia during the '90s, though largely unknown overseas. The elegantly wasted Rogers also became known for his roguishly charming persona and rock star antics to rival Ryan Adams both on and off the stage. Rogers was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, in 1968, although he moved several times in his youth. His older brother had a collection of imported American records, which Rogers would break into his room to listen to while he was out. The first lineup of You Am I consisted of Rogers, his brother Jaimme (the initial frontman), and a school friend of theirs. While living in the city of Canberra and studying law and arts, Rogers met Andy Kent, who became You Am I's sound mixer. After a fight between the Rogers brothers, the lineup changed completely and Kent was invited to play bass. You Am I went on to win many Australian fans in the '90s, releasing three albums in a row, all of which debuted at number one. Rogers is said to keep all of their trophies in his outdoor toilet. In 1999 he released his first album outside of You Am I with a backing band called the Twin Set, the popular What Rhymes with Cars and Girls. The songs took a low-key, acoustic approach that contrasted with the rough-and-ready rock sound of You Am I, many of them inspired by a breakup with his long-term girlfriend. Several of You Am I's tunes had featured on the soundtrack to David Caesar's homage to Quentin Tarantino, Idiot Box, with Rogers helping to select the songs. When it came time to record the soundtrack to his 2002 movie Dirty Deeds, Caesar turned to Rogers to assemble an album's worth of material with his band as well as collaborators such as Dallas Crane and Billy Thorpe, obviously including the AC/DC classic, "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap." After Rogers' marriage (to a girl met while touring Europe), he began splitting his time between her home in Spain and his in Australia. His time in Australia was marked by headline-grabbing bad-boy behavior. After You Am I was dropped by their label, BMG, Rogers confronted Australian Idol judge Mark Holden at Adelaide Airport with claims that his band was removed to make way for albums by winners of the program. A scuffle ensued and the two were reprimanded by airport security. Rogers admitted that he had been drinking before the confrontation occurred. His behavior was again the focus when You Am I played at the Falls Festival in Tasmania. A visibly intoxicated Rogers stumbled and slurred through several songs before apologizing and abandoning the set halfway through. Backstage, he accidentally knocked over fellow performer Missy Higgins, causing her to briefly lose consciousness. The result was Rogers' admission of his drug and alcohol problems. Rogers formed a new backing band, ironically named the Temperance Union, with whom he released Spit Polish in 2004 and the double album Ghost Songs/Dirty Ron in 2005. The sound was raw and gutsy, in comparison to the gentleness of his previous solo outing. Ghost Songs featured several duets with singers including Higgins (who apparently holds no grudge) and Rebecca Barnard and the song "Ridin' from My House to Ours," inspired by the divorce he was undergoing at the time. Rogers' next marriage was a musical one. He teamed up with Tex Perkins, frontman of the Cruel Sea and the Beasts of Bourbon, to form a duo called T'n'T. Initially formed as a joke, they played pub gigs with acoustic guitars, using material from both their lengthy careers. Interest was such that T'n'T became a going concern, and went on to play shows with a full orchestra and record an album, My Better Half, in 2006. In 2007 Rogers released another solo album, The Luxury of Hysteria, through his own label, Ruby Q. Although all of the members of the Temperance Union contributed, the album was credited to Rogers alone. ~ Jody Macgregor, Rovi -
Kirin J Callinan
Kieran John Callinan, known by his stage name Kirin J. Callinan, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is also a founding member of Mercy Arms and has played with the Night Game, Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders, Mark Ronson and Genesis Owusu. Referred to as the enfant terrible of Australia's underground rock music scene, Callinan is known for his flamboyant public persona, confrontational live shows, and diverse musical output in which, according to Spin, "the distinctions between talent, irony, and genuine bad taste bleed together until they're indistinguishable." Callinan said that his primary motivation as a musician is to "excite and confuse,... But you can't do that for any length of time without having sincerity."
