Dodo & The Dodo's - efterår 2026 Dodo & The Dodo's er et af de mest interessante bands fra Danmarks musikalske guldalder. Bandet er i fuld vigør, og spiller koncerter med saft, kraft og nærvær. Bandet kommer nu forbi Pavillonen med et sceneshow ud over det sædvanlige. Med hits nok til en hel aften samt et sprudlende orkester, er de klar til at lyse den mørke tid op med deres evergreens. Dodo & The Dodo's popularitet er umiskendeligt voksende, og det er tydeligt, at der i disse år bygges på fanbasen hele tiden. Dette aflæses både på Spotify og til live koncerterne, hvortil de trækker masser af festglade mennesker. Med et af Danmarks mest ikoniske bagkataloger, som stadigvæk den dag i dag spiller i radioen, taget bandet på efterårs-tour med alle deres hits. Dodo & the Dodos
Dodo and the Dodos are a danish popband which was formed in 1986.
The band consists of four members:
Dodo Gad: Vocals, backgroundvocals.
Jens Rud: Vocals, backgroundvocals, guitar, percussion
Lars Thorup: Drums, percussion.
Anders Valbro: Rhythm, single and slideguitar.
Especially in the 1980's Dodo and the Dodos got a lot of airtime on the radio with songs such as "Vågner I natten", Sømand af verden", Vi gør det vi ka' li'", Lev livet nu" and "Pigen med det røde hår"
The song, "Lev livet nu" was used by danish television station TV-2 during the covering of the summer olympics in 1992.
The leadsinger Dodo Gad also recorded a now legendary football song, "Re-Sepp-Ten for the World Cup in 1986 together with the danish national footballteam. About ten years later Dodo Gad recorded another footballsong for a football championship. The song, which was called : "Vi vil ha' sejren I land", was not as succesful but has become a classic among danish national footballsongs.
Dodo and the Dodos have released 5 danish studioalbums and a single album in english, the latest released in 1998. In 2008 the band returned with their newest album, their first in 10 years.

Dodo and the Dodos have sold more than 1,5 million albums making them one of the best selling danish artist ever. The band remains a very popular live-band, and often plays at, venues, musicfestivals and outdoor concerts all over Denmark.
