Following the overwhelming response to its 2024 debut, The Cat Empire are thrilled to be bringing their Orchestra Tour to Melbourne for the first time.

For one night only at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday January 16, the band will be joined on stage by Orchestra Victoria, Gondwana National Choirs and flamenco group Arte Kanela.

This will be a huge, all ages Summer spectacular with the band re-imagining their catalogue on a grand orchestral scale - blending beloved Cat Empire classics with bold new arrangements written especially for this collaboration. Drawing on the band’s signature mix of Afro-Cuban, Seychellois Creole, Brazilian and flamenco influences, the music is expanded and elevated by the full force of the orchestra, flamenco troupe and youth choir, creating a powerful and immersive live experience.

See you on the lawn.
