David will wander through Skövde, draw to up to a powerful viewpoint, but perhaps not the one you are thinking of. Along the way David will seek to challenge our rational mindset and slip through cracks into other kinds of thinking.
About the artist
David Spraggs (b.1986, United Kingdom) is an artist, exhibitions technician, art educator and clumsy wizard. David works with participatory performance and role play and aims to make space, time, and tools for thinking and being other-wise. His practice is a kind of nuanced socially engaged art, which he calls an enchant-ing practice. This has core values of co-authorship and critical imagination, where mag-ic acts as an evocative interplay with each other and more than human worlds. David makes moments for making together with others and using our collective imagination to be otherwise.
