Planet Desert Rock Weekend VII - January 28- 31, 2027 in Las Vegas.
4 evenings of specially curated heavy rock and psych from around the world for our 7th production.
Lineup so far:
Greenleaf / Sweden
Playing an exclusive west coast show! Considered by many one of the premier bands of the heavy underground scene. Features Dozer guitarist Tommi Holappa.
Sergeant Thunderhoof / England
Returning to Planet Desert Rock Weekend by popular demand and will be playing the USA for only their 2nd time. Premium heavy rock/ stoner with excellent vocals.
Humulus / Italy
Continuing the tradition we have our 4th Italian band in as many years. This heavy rock/psych band has been around since their debut in 2012. They will be making their American debut.
Brimstone Coven/ West Virginia
Veteran heavy rockers since 2014 mixing many traditional rock influences while pairing harmony vocals. 2025 relase became an instant fan favorite
Sundrifter / Boston
Planet Desert Rock Weekend alumni return to Vegas as one of the best sounding bands in the scene. Amazing vocals and cool songwriting that feels a bit futuristic. One of the best hidden secrets in the scene
Shun/ South Carolina-North Carolina
Fronted by Throttlerod frontman Matt Whitehead, Shun goes in a different direction with a clean sound with influences ranging from late 80s alt rock to 90s bands like Quicksand.
Florist / Tampa
With 2 creatively cool EPs under the belt they recently signed with Ripple Music who is one of the preminent labels in the underground. Their heavy psych sound is at times on the heavier side but also wanders in spacey vibes as well. Have done quite a few east coast fests and this will be their 1st time out west.
Winds of Neptune / Detroit
Debut Small Stone release in late 2025 cemented the #1 on the Doom Charts for November with the retro riffing throwback sound. Features Floggy Molly drummer Mike Alonso.
We have a larger European band that will be making their USA debut but we can not announce until sometime in March but they are definitely a band you will want to catch. Other bands as well in the works!

Sergeant ThunderhoofRock five-piece Sergeant Thunderhoof return with the release of their fifth studio album ‘The Ghost of Badon Hill’ on November 15th 2024 via Pale Wizard Records, the follow up to 2022’s acclaimed album ‘This Sceptred Veil’. Hailing from the historical area of Somerset Sergeant Thunderhoof have yet again delved deep into local history, mythology and folklore to deliver their most focussed album to date. ‘The Ghost of Badon Hill’ is a true conceptual piece, set in the 4th Century AD and positively charged with raw emotion and Arthurian mysticism. Recorded with Josh Gallop (who recently became an official member of the band) at Stage 2 Studios in Bath and mastered by Tony Reed (Mos Generator), their new LP sees the band exploring wider and more textured sonic landscapes, whilst conceptually delving into Somerset’s famous Battle of Badon.
