Make Them SufferGrowth, and the desire for eternal forward motion have been the concepts that have defined Make Them Suffer since the very beginning; and have been the foundations that led them from the world's most remote capital city Perth in Australia, to becoming a household name on stages around the world. As they have traversed previous eras, the five piece have grown through the genres of deathcore, melodic death metal, & heavy metalcore; and as they continue on this path, look to be defined by nothing more than the label ‘creative’. Through ‘Ether’, ’27’, and ‘Hollowed Heart’, the band has worked to shed themselves of the shackles of expectation, and as they look towards the open road that lies ahead of them, the light that guides the way has a name, ‘How To Survive A Funeral’. To assist in the redefinition of every line the band is known for, Make Them Suffer enlisted the assistance of Drew Fulk A.K.A. WZRDBLD, who has worked with everyone from Motionless In White & Bullet For My Valentine, to Yelawolf & Lil’ Wayne. The band travelled to LA to shack up at Fulk’s studio, the first time in their career working this closely with a producer, and the result is truly something unique in the current climate of heavy music. The band’s fourth full length sees inspirations from their past and present sounds twisted together into a package that will define Make Them Suffer’s place amongst their contemporaries as a truly creative act. -

AvatarStrange times call for a strange band. With a life long commitment to the misfit arts, Avatar delves deep into the collective subconscious. They travel beyond the realms of flesh and far past the spiritual barriers broken in past works. No matter how many times they were warned, they keep treading deeper into the woods. There is sense to be made out of the senseless. They lay a soft gaze upon terrifying, almost shapeless inner landscapes, and they have a damn good time doing it.

HammerfallHammerFall is a heavy/power metal band from Sweden, formed in 1993 by Oscar Dronjak and Jesper Strömblad, then members of Ceremonial Oath.
Dronjak had already composed some of the new band's music, including the song "Steel Meets Steel". Several of the band's early lineups featured members of other influential Swedish heavy metal bands, such as In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. The members intended to take part in a competition known as "Rockslaget".
In 1996, HammerFall reached the semi-finals of the competition, but needed to find a new vocalist as their existing one would be unavailable for the competition. He was replaced by Joacim Cans, who became a full-time member of the band. Despite not winning the competition, HammerFall's live demo earned them a contract with Vic Records, which resulted in the release of their debut album "Glory to the Brave". The band was also licensed to Nuclear Blast of Germany for a four-album deal. At this point, the decision was taken that HammerFall was a full-time project, which meant that the In Flames members opted to focus on their melodic death metal band.
"Glory to the Brave" proved a considerable success for the band, paving the way for later successes. This critical and commercial success was further underscored by the success of a tour of Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, in which the band played to full houses. This pattern would be followed on later tours with other power metal bands.
HammerFall capped off 1997 with a nomination for Best Hard Rock Act at the Swedish music awards.
In 1998, HammerFall released "Legacy of Kings", their second album and their first featuring their entire lineup. Again, the band followed this release with a tour schedule covering much of Europe, as well as a number of major festivals. The first single from "Legacy of Kings", "Heeding The Call", achieved the success of a three-week stay on the German charts.
HammerFall also recorded songs for tribute albums to several of their influences, including Accept and Helloween, before embarking on their first world tour. This tour was marred slightly by most of the band catching a throat infection, which rendered lead singer Cans unable to speak, much less sing.
HammerFall's third album, "Renegade", was recorded in much the same fashion as their previous two releases had been. In contrast to the uniformly positive reaction to the first two albums, "Renegade" was met by some scepticism in some quarters, however early single releases found just as much success with fans as before, as did the album itself.
The band's fourth album, "Crimson Thunder", was recorded partly in Holland (the bass), partly in Germany (the drums) and partly on the island of Tenerife. Once again, the album met with success, with some reviews remarking on the heavier sound when compared with earlier releases.
At around this time, Joacim Cans was attacked in a bar, having a beer glass smashed into his face. He made a full recovery, and the planned video shoot for "Hearts on Fire" was only postponed by a week.
In 2007, bass guitarist Magnus Rosén decided to leave the band to continue his solo career, and in came an old friend, Fredrik Larsson. Fredrik was playing bass for Hammerfall during the recording of their debut album - Glory To The Brave. (Ilham)
Guitarist Stefan Elmgren left the band in the summer of 2008 because he wanted to focus on his career as a commercial pilot. Pontus Norgren from The Poodles replaced him. For a long time he had wanted to play heavier music so this was his chance.

Heaven Shall Burn
Heaven Shall Burn, the metalcore band founded in Thuringia, Germany in 1996, has evolved into one of the most influential forces in the international metal scene. Comprising Marcus Bischoff (vocals), Maik Weichert (guitar), Alexander Dietz (guitar), Eric Bischoff (bass) and Christian Bass (drums), they have gained global recognition for their aggressive sound and politically charged lyrics.
Their 2008 album "Iconoclast (Part 1: The Final Resistance)" solidified their reputation as an innovative force in the metalcore genre. This success continued with subsequent records such as "VETO" (2013) and "Wanderer" (2016), both of which propelled them to the top positions of international charts. Their latest release, "Of Truth And Sacrifice" (2020), not only reached number one in their home country Germany but also led to headlining performances at major metal festivals worldwide, including Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air.
This connection to the broader metal community emphasized their enduring relevance in the scene. The band not only sets musical standards but also actively engages in social and political causes, with a focus on human and animal rights. Through their passionate dedication to music and unwavering commitment, Heaven Shall Burn remains a driving force and undoubtedly stands as one of the most influential metal bands of their generation.

Shadow of IntentShadow of Intent is an American metal band based in New England originally formed by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman in 2014. The band has released four albums independently since inception, including Primordial (2016), Reclaimer (2017), Melancholy (2019) and very recently their latest work Elegy (2022), which charted on Billboard at #4 Top New Artist Albums, #6 Current Hard Music Albums, and #16 on Current Rock Albums and Current Digital Albums.
The band name and lyrics were originally derived from lore from the Halo franchise and since then the band’s subject matter has become more dark and personal, focusing on the many evils in the world, whether myth or real-life events. Different genres of metal including death metal, black metal, symphonic metal, progressive metal, and metalcore are blended masterfully to create the unique sound that is Shadow of Intent. Since their first live show at the end of 2017, Shadow of Intent have embarked on several US tours with bands such as Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Carnifex, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Born of Osiris, Despised Icon, and more. The band's lineup today consists of Ben Duerr (Vocals), Chris Wiseman (Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards), Bryce Butler (Drums) and Andrew Monias (Bass). -
MalevolenceMalevolence have never waited for permission. From the underground to festival main stages, they’ve built their reputation on sheer force of will, crushing live shows, and an unshakable foundation of heavy riffs and harder work. Now, with their fourth studio album “Where Only The Truth Is Spoken”, Sheffield’s finest step into a new league.
Recorded in California at Dave Grohl’s legendary Studio 606, the album was tracked through the iconic Neve 8078 console, the same desk that captured game-changing records like Nirvana’s “Nevermind,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours,” and Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers.” For a band that’s always pushed forward without compromise, it was the perfect setting to carve out a record that represents everything Malevolence stands for. The album marks a new level of songwriting precision without sacrificing the band’s trademark weight. Working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira, Trivium), the result is Malevolence at their most punishing, urgent, and anthemic.
Lyrically, “Where Only The Truth Is Spoken” reflects the principles that Malevolence have lived by since day one—honesty, loyalty, and integrity. These are not just themes woven into the album but values the band holds in their personal and professional lives. This record doesn’t deal in facades or empty gestures; it’s an unfiltered expression of the struggles, victories, and unshakable brotherhood that have carried them this far.
“The story behind each song comes from lived experiences rather than just meaningless words on the page. It’s not all just about anger or aggression; there’s a lot of weight in the words across the whole album, whether that’s addressing personal struggles, the state of the world, or the highs and lows of life. It was important to me to really step up on the lyrics of this album. I think you can feel that raw energy and emotion in every track, and I hope people will connect with it on a deeper level. It’s 100% my proudest work to date.” - Alex Taylor
Malevolence’s rise has been impossible to ignore. From an early afternoon slot on Bloodstock Festival’s main stage in 2021 to direct support for the headliner in 2024, they’ve proven that the grind pays off. Across Europe and the U.S., their sets have become a focal point of festival carnage, drawing some of the most chaotic pits of the summer and cementing their place as one of modern metal’s most vital forces. That reputation has earned the respect of metal’s elite. Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, a longtime supporter of the band, lends his unmistakable roar to “In Spite,” bringing two generations of heavy music together on one track. The collaboration is a nod of approval from a legend in the scene, but more than that, it’s a statement Malevolence aren’t following in anyone’s footsteps. They’re carving their own.
“Where Only The Truth Is Spoken” delivers on everything Malevolence have built so far—harder riffs, bigger hooks, and an undeniable presence that has taken them from Sheffield to the world stage.

UdoU.D.O. is a German heavy metal band founded by lead singer Udo Dirkschneider in 1987. Closely tied to the name U.D.O. is Accept, founded by Udo Dirkschneider and Michael Wagener (later to become a top producer) in Solingen, which was the predecessor of U.D.O.
U.D.O. is an incorrect tag for Udo Mechels.
After the breaking up of Accept in 1987, a large fan community followed Udo Dirkschneider and Stefan Kaufmann to U.D.O.
Starting with the first albums Animal House in 1988 and Mean Machine in 1989 U.D.O. proved to be pure heavy metal without any Trend-Sound influences. Both albums continued where Accept had left of in 1986 with Russian Roulette. Animal House was played in by Peter Szigeti (guitars), Frank Rittel from Warlock (bass), Mathias Dieth from Sinner (guitars),Thomas Franke (drums) and of course Udo Dirkschneider (vocals)
When Mean Machine was released in 1989 U.D.O. had a totally different look. From the line-up which had played on Animal House, remained besides Udo only Mathias Dieth (guitar). New were Andy Susemihl (guitar), Thomas Smuszynski (bass) and Stefan Schwarzmann (drums).
Even though the unwritten U.D.O. law No-Keyboards was broken, U.D.O. achieved an amazing success, with the album Faceless World, produced by ex-Accept drummer Stefan Kaufmann.
At first disputed, it turned out to be, with Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Mathias Dieth (guitar), Wolla Boehm (guitar), Thomas Smuszynski (bass) and Stefan Schwarzmann (drums), U.D.O.'s most sold album so far.

The New Roses
THE NEW ROSES from the beautiful German region of Rheingau are one of the most exciting and successful new rock acts from Germany. Their song "Without A Trace" was featured on the soundtrack of the US cult-series "SONS OF ANARCHY" and was selected as the official song for the German DVD trailer campaign. Musically THE NEW ROSES are explosive like TNT. They fit in the same pocket as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Aerosmith, Metallica, or The Black Crowes, but with their own unique style. Over the last years, their fan base has grown constantly as they've toured relentlessly throughout GAS, France and Spain. In 2015 alone, the band performed over 80 concerts! Highlights in 2015 included performances at the UEFA CHAMPIONS FESTIVAL in Berlin, a headliner show at the HAMBURG HARLEY DAYS with approximately 500.000 visitors, SWISS HARLEY DAYS, LOVE RIDE FESTIVAL (CH) and lots of special guest shows with ACCEPT and MOLLY HATCHET. In February 2015, THE NEW ROSES signed an international record deal with NAPALM RECORDS (Universal). The album "Dead Man's Voice" was released in Feb 2016 and entered the Official German Album Top 100 Sales Charts at #36. The album reviews are slamming. Germany's biggest rock-magazine METAL HAMMER wrote: "THE NEW ROSES are a complete exceptional phenomena in the German rockscene" - EMP (Germanys' biggest rock mailorder) wrote: "THE NEW ROSES accomplished it with their thrilling sound to bring stadium rock back to the showstage", CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE: "Forceful rock-hymnes consisting of passion, driving guitars and a unique voice make the new THE NEW ROSES album a real rock jewel", the biggest rock magazine from France, ROCK HARD FRANCE, wrote: "THE NEW ROSES are the best hard rock band of today!" and chose "Dead Man's Voice"as album of the month!
In 2016, THE NEW ROSES performed over 100 shows in Europe including support slots for THE DEAD DASIES, TREMONTI, SAXON, and Y&T, in addition to performances on huge festival stages in Germany and France. The continuous touring has turned THE NEW ROSES into a solid rock act in Germany and has put them on their way to conquer new territories like France, Spain, Switzerland and Austria. In 2017, many new countries were added to their tour schedule, such as UK, Czech Republic, the Netherlands or even Afghanistan, where THE NEW ROSES played two shows for the international troops of operation "Resolute Support" in "Camp Marmal", Mazar-i Sharif. Their performances at Hellfest Open Air in France and Hard Rock Hell Festival in the UK have further solidified their mainstay in the European rock scene. In 2017, THE NEW ROSES reached their next milestone with the worldwide release of their new album "One More For The Road" via Napalm Records on 25th of August, which hit the Official German Album Top 20 Sales Charts and reached more than 2000 spins on German radio stations. The following "One More For The Road Tour" lead the band through Germany, Austria and Switzerland and became the most successful tour in the band's history so far, with sold out shows in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Mannheim. In 2018 THE NEW ROSES will tour again all over Europe. Beside headliner shows in Germany, France and UK, THE NEW ROSES will play a 4-weeks European tour as special guests for THE DEAD DAISIES in April/May, before hitting national and international festival stages like SWEDEN ROCK, OPEN ROAD FEST (HU), MASTERS OF ROCK (CZ), MATAPALOZ, ROCK OF AGES, ROCK HARD FESTIVAL, WERNER DAS RENNEN, etc. in Summer.
