Dansespel og lydarlæte

I Valdres har ein hatt, og har, ein rik tradisjon for lydarlæte. Jørn Hilme spelte også lydarlæte, om enn i mindre omfang enn hans samtidige “nemesis” Lars M. Krøsshaug (1785-1830), men har for alvor blitt ståande som ein dansespelemann. Konserten tek for seg Hilme og Krøsshaugen, dansespel og lydarlæte, og to stilskapar med vidt forskjellige uttrykk.

Konserten arrangerast i samarbeid med Gol spel- og dansarlag.

Sivert Holmen
Sivert Holmen is one of the foremost performers of traditional Hardanger fiddle music in Norway. The Hardanger fiddle tradition from his home region, Valdres, is often where the music comes from, evolves around or what inspires him. Sivert combines the sound and tone from the best of the Hardanger fiddle world with the rawness of the folk dance. Delicate listening tunes where time almost stops and dance tunes that are impossible to stand still to form the core of his expression. Sivert released his debut solo album Jotunheimen in 2021, an album that brings together many of the best tunes from the Valdres tradition. In 2015 he was awarded Young Folk Musician of the Year with Bjørn Kåre Odde with the duo Odde & Holmen. He is also winner of Fureprisen (2016) and Øivind Berghs minnepris (2017). www.sivertholmen.no
