Lars Vaular: Menneske og Maskin // Fadderveka 26 // ROKKEN

Lars Vaular has been a crowd favorite ever since his breakthrough with “Rett opp og ned” and the album Helt om natten, helt om dagen in 2010. With his curiosity, uncompromising lyricism, and rare ability to reinvent himself, he has since cemented his position as one of Norway’s most distinctive artists. He has received five Spellemann Awards and the honorary award at P3 Gull.

Throughout his career, he has moved effortlessly between genres and generations, collaborating with a wide range of artists, from Kamelen to Röyksopp, Bjørn Eidsvåg, Astrid S, and Ari Bajgora.

In the summer of 2026, he is current with the album Episoder av evighet (Episodes of Eternity) and the poetry project Først skrittet, så navellen (First the Step, Then the Short Story), which he has been developing throughout the spring on the blog NMGKrønikene.no.

Bergens Tidende wrote “Lars Vaular is doing what he does best again,” about the singles “Mafiakoner” and “PTSD.” Aftenposten described Episoder av evighet as “a new masterpiece” and awarded the album its highest rating.

In the autumn of 2026, he will embark on the Menneske OG maskin (Human AND Machine) tour. Here, he will combine readings from his poetry project with the musical expression that Lars Vaular’s audience knows him for: an intense stage presence, powerful lyrics, and a repertoire spanning more than fifteen years of Norwegian classics.

When Lars Vaular took audiences on a journey through a hit-filled career in the summer of 2025, there was no doubt that he remained one of the country’s strongest live performers. With the Human AND Machine tour, he is set to prove once again why.
