Sampa the GreatZambia-born, Botswana-raised, Sampa’s upbringing continues to bear an influence on her music. Her debut album - “The Return” -ranges from classic hip-hop to ancient Southern African sounds. Built on four years of personal and musical soul-searching, it’s the product of meaningful musical connections and of Sampa redefining her self-identity away from the comforts of family and old friends. Album contributors include: Jonwayne, MsM (Skepta/BBK), Andrei Eremin, Silentjay, Kwes Darko (Slowthai), Clever Austin (Hiatus Kiayote), Blue Lab Beats, Syreniscreamy, Ecca Vandal and London jazz collective Steam Down. The Return, debut single “Final Form” and the live show have seen Sampa awarded many accolades, including Bandcamp’s Best Album 2019, the prestigious Australian Music Prize in 2019 (first and only artist to win twice), an ARIA for Best Hip Hop Release, two Triple J Awards for Video of The Year and Double J Artist of The Year, as well as Hip Hop Act of The Year at both the Music Victoria and National Live Music Awards. “The Return” has been championed by Annie Mac (Radio 1), Gilles Peterson & Lauren Laverne (6 Music), KCRW & KEXP; Pitchfork, The Guardian, Vulture, OkayAfrica, The Independent, Hypebeast, Crack Magazine and many more. Sampa recently wrapped a sold out Australian and European tour, performing at some of the worlds most iconic festivals, including Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass, Laneway, Sugar Mountain, and more with more to come in 2020 including Coachella. -

Yazmin Lacey
Yazmin Lacey is a singer-songwriter who knows something about coming into her own. She came to music late, she says – “It's never late, but late in the perspective of that I'm doing it now,” – almost as if by fate. And throughout her time in the music scene, the 33-year-old has used her music as an exercise in capturing those moments and putting them into song, as if a snapshot of the intimate parts of her own life.
Debut album Voice Notes is yet another record of those moments. It follows on from three stunning EP’s; Black Moon (2017), When The Sun Dips 90 Degrees (2018) and Morning Matters (2020), a trilogy of sorts, named in part by the settings in which they were written. Voice Notes is similarly inspired by something that helped the album spring to life. A long-held tool of her music-making and way of sharing melodies with collaborators, it’s a method of communication deeply special to her.
“For me, a voice note represents an immediate reaction to something,” she says. “[It’s] unfiltered and raw in the way that you can hear it. Someone's breathy tone, whether they’re tired, whether someone's saying something in a cheeky way or not – sometimes you don't get that in a message

SoyuzSOYUZ (which translates as ‘union’) is a creative collective from Minsk, Belarus, led by composer, arranger and singer Alex Chumak, multi-instrumentalist Mikita Arlou and drummer Anton Nemahai. While on previous albums they reimagined the legacy of jazz-oriented, non-English-language pop music of the 20th century, their third album ‘Force of the Wind’ holds all the trademarks, beauty and eccentricities of classic Brazilian recordings. It contains songs in Russian and Portuguese and instrumental compositions, both acoustic and electroacoustic, and a host of musical guests. -
