Hugar have explored many different musical directions over the years. The band consists of recording engineer Bergur Þórisson and architect Pétur Jónsson. Following the success of their debut album in 2014, they have released numerous albums, composed music for film, and performed around the world.

Hugar have been largely dormant in recent years, but now return to the stage for their first concert in Iceland since 2023. The performance will feature new material alongside old favourites.

lúpína is the project of Nína Solveig Andersen, an Icelandic-Norwegian alternative pop artist blending electronic textures, dream pop, and intimate lyrics. She debuted in 2022 before releasing her acclaimed album ringluð in 2023, which earned a Kraumur Award nomination and won Song of the Year at the Reykjavík Grapevine Music Awards. Her sophomore album marglytta (2024) brought her to international stages such as Roskilde Festival.

Earlier this year, lúpína released her EP Light in the Dark — a bold new chapter in her ever-evolving sound that has continued to grow her fanbase both at home in Reykjavík and beyond. A genuinely exciting voice in contemporary pop, she is just getting started.
