KALEIDOSCOPE Art Studio invites young artists, curious minds, and anyone interested in collaborative and experimental ways of creating art to join us for a series of creative workshops.
Over five sessions, we’ll explore different ways of expressing ourselves, making art together, building connections, and discovering what can happen when individual ideas come together.
Through art exercises and collaborative practices, we will work towards:
- one collective artwork created together
- a collection of individual artworks reflecting each participant’s voice
- new creative connections, ideas, and confidence in your own artistic expression
- a group exhibition/presentation of the created work
No previous artistic experience is needed, curiosity is enough!
The project is primarily dedicated to students, young people aged 15–30, but all ages and backgrounds are welcome. We believe that creativity has no age limit. By bringing different generations together, we create opportunities for intergenerational exchange, shared learning, and new perspectives.
Our approach is:
*Multidisciplinary — bringing together different art forms and creative practices
*Multilingual — welcoming different languages and ways of communicating
*Multigenerational — learning from and creating with people of different ages
*Collaborative — exploring what becomes possible when we create together
Most importantly, the workshops are designed to help you build artistic confidence, experiment freely, and find your own ways of expressing yourself.

The first meeting on 21 September will be an introductory session, a chance to meet the group, get to know the approach, and start exploring together.

👋 Meet your mentors:
Ewa Marcinek is an author, educator, creative-writing teacher, and artistic producer. Ewa is also a co-founder of initiatives including RVK Poetics, Ritrými, Ós Pressan, and Story-sharing, among others.
Juan Camilo is a Colombian-Icelandic actor, poet, educator and project manager of Sprettur at the University of Iceland.
This initiative is a partnership between the Sprettur initiative at the University of Iceland and the KALEIDOSCOPE project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
