LadieLex is the solo project of Alexandra Ósk Sigurðardóttir, an Icelandic artist based in Stockholm, Sweden.
After her time with the rock band Hellvar and various indie projects, Alexandra moved to Sweden in 2014 and launched LadieLex, creating a unique sound that blends electronic textures with rich live instrumentation.
She introduced her distinctive sound with the debut single “Gonna Give It” in 2017, followed by “Wrong Direction” in 2022 and her self-titled debut EP in 2023. In 2024, she released her first cover, a reimagined version of Delerium’s classic “Silence,” followed by the original single “Time Taker.”
Following a two-year release break, LadieLex is returning with “UNFOLD,” releasing on August 25th, 2026.
The song marks a new chapter in the project, introducing organic drums and collaboration with other musicians while maintaining her independent approach to songwriting, recording, and production.
LadieLex’s music moves between atmospheric electronic elements, live instrumentation, and emotionally driven alternative indie rock.
As an independent artist, she continues to shape every part of the creative process, from the music itself to the visual identity surrounding each release.

LadieLex is the solo project of Alexandra Sigurðardóttir, a lady born in Iceland and now residing in Stockholm, Sweden. Alexandra has a long history in the Icelandic music scene having been a member of rock band Hellvar (guitar and backing vocals) and collaborating on several other indie projects.
Alexandra moved to Sweden in 2014 and while she adjusted to a new life in a new country she set the wheels in motion for LadieLex and released her first single 'Gonna Give it' in 2017. LadieLex’s follow-up EP is currently in production in Stockholm and is projected for release in the summer of 2023.
LadieLex combines synthetic and organic instrumentation to create an alternative pop rock soundscape. Alexandra writes, performs and records herself independently. She is a powerhouse and true Icelandic talent exported from the heart of Keflavik.
