"Let it go. Or how to see a whole constellation inside a body?”

Filming, observing, drawing, sculpting, writing... with one purpose: to understand ourselves and the world we live in a little better. Doing so in the only way possible... as an attempt, an approach to something resembling an answer that is inevitably destined to falter, to be imperfect, to be elusive, even to fade away. Who are we? What are we? How are we? Why are we? What for? Where to? Until when? If finding an answer is not possible... why bother or dare to say, name, show, imagine, remember, dream? How? And from where?

It is inevitable to think, once again, of Didi-Huberman: human beings make two mistakes in life. One, to believe that what appears, appears to stay. Two, to believe that what disappears, disappears forever.

To create, then, is to give account of something destined to elude us, to vanish, to disappear... to give account of that which cannot be fixed. To say, to name, to show, to imagine, to dream... then... as ways of letting go.

In this encounter, which begins with the story of a father's loss and ends with a tree, the aim is to share possible strategies for understanding creation as a process that undoes, contradicts, unravels, hides, hollows out... Getting lost becomes the only way to find, letting go becomes the only possibility to see an entire constellation within a body.
