"Mér er um og ó" - Solveig Thoroddsen sýnir í Spönginni

The exhibition contains artwork of female characters from Icelandic folklore. Solveig published a book of the same name in 2025, for which she selected, rewrote and illustrated 15 Icelandic folk tales.

Solveig Thoroddsen is a visual artist, primary school teacher and tour guide by training. She studied fine art at the Iceland University of the Arts, where she graduated with a master's degree in 2015.

The exhibition opening will be on Thursday, 1 October at 16:30. The exhibition will run until 31 October.
