Reykjavík Dance Festival and Austurbæjarbíó join forces for MYRKRAEYJA. Come in from the cold and dance with us into the night.

Curated by Kanema Erna Mashinkila and Luis Lucas, MYRKRAEYJA brings together different music scenes, dance and performance art. DJs and live music keep the dancefloor moving, while pole dance, hair suspension, light performances, a tattoo pop-up and unexpected happenings unfold throughout the venue.

A dash of mystery and a pinch of chaos.

Access at Austurbæjarbíó is generally good. It is easy to enter and move around most areas. There are stairs into the main hall and to the second floor, but platform lifts serve all staircases, and visitors may operate them themselves.

There are no designated accessible parking spaces directly by the venue, but there is a drop-off zone immediately outside.

Three parking spaces are available on nearby streets.
