Funk Tribu takes over Knockdown Center's Ruins and Main Hall for a day-into-night RUSH marathon, joined by Afem Syko, Innamorati, Supergloss, LOVEFOXY, Ksenyeah and x3butterfly.
Colombian-born DJ Funk Tribu makes his RUSH debut on October 17. Known as a key architect of modern high-impact, groove-oriented trance, he leads the charge alongside an allstar cast.
Outside, he’s joined by Berlin’s LOVEFOXY as well as two of NY's best: x3butterfly and Ksenyeah. LOVEFOXY balances riotous club energy with a raw and direct energy that can go head-to-head with the most potent warehouse sounds. x3butterfly and Ksenyeah are unmissable presences; each pushes their own unique visions that are as adventurous as they are slamming. At the center of it all, Funk Tribu delivers a set that’s specially-tooled for the open air stage.
Inside, darkness takes hold as the program turns towards the shadows. In addition to a second headlining set from Funk Tribu, Afem Syko, Innamorati and Supergloss step up. Syko is best known for his ruthless touch; his breakout "RAS1" on the R Label Group is one of the most twisted examples of large-scale techno to be unleashed in the last five years. X-IZE founder Supergloss captures a unique blend of throttling techno and euphoric trance. Innamorati is the new duo of j:drive and TRIPS. Proving to be greater than sum of their parts, Innamorati tunnels straight to the core.

x3butterfly is a Mexican/American DJ and producer from Detroit, currently based in New York. While studying at California Institute of the Arts, they began their career in music as an experimental performance artist.
