Sasha Adrian makes confessional indie-rock for the other "late-millennials-but-too-emotionally-repressed-to-be-gen-Zs" out there. With a daring temper and a sound that alludes to both her Scandinavian roots and extended time spent in New England, her songwriting creates a powerful contrast between distorted guitars and bright, pleading vocals.

While her music has often lived in the quieter, overlooked corners of the indie scene, Sasha has steadily built a dedicated following through her EPs Token and Shell. These early releases established her as a songwriter of "gut-wrenching earnesty" (For The Rabbits), balancing dark humor with a vulnerability that Kindline Magazine described as "capturing a specific kind of lonely that feels both deeply personal and entirely universal."

Now, Sasha is stepping into her debut album era with a strengthened voice and a new lyrical confidence. Her latest single, "Always, Almost", is a driving, self-deprecating alt-rock song for anyone who has ever stayed in a relationship long after the story should have ended. Living in the lane of artists like Samia, Lucy Dacus, and Madi Diaz, Sasha’s storytelling fearlessly navigates the complexities of the human experience: from the heavy lifting of healing to those sharp, small observations that make you question your own life. Like the frustrating truth that "it’s so easy to conflate longing and love."

An active player on the live scene, Sasha has toured indie venues in Denmark and made her international debut at Waves Vienna in 2024, where her "potent yet calming" sound and sympathetic audience interaction were described as a "wholesome experience." Whether performing solo or with her full band, Sasha creates a unique bubble of connectivity, using sharp observations and comedic relief to offer a sense of hope you didn't even know you needed.

Hannah Busk is a singer, composer and performer based in Copenhagen. After many years of creating and performing music as part of the experimental trio NEBULAH, she is now embarking on a new adventure with a solo project that brings her songwriting and distinctive voice into sharper focus.

Hannah Busk writes music and lyrics with a melancholic, poetic sensibility and a strong sense of simplicity. Her work is drawn to the space between vulnerability and drama, intimacy and intensity, gently shaped by a fascination of great rock poets and the deeply felt, quirky drama found in artists such as PJ Harvey, ANOHNI, and Aldous Harding.

The solo project grows naturally out of experiences with the band NEBULAH, where she is part of the front trio as lead vocalist in a setup combining live electronics, vocal effects pedals, keys and percussion. Working within this experimental environment has shaped a musical language where the music is intimate and atmospheric, but never afraid of tension or the unexpected.

With the solo project, Hannah Busk opens a more personal chapter — one rooted in songwriting, voice and curiosity, and driven by a desire to explore what can happen when the familiar is stripped back and you’re allowed to become and create something new.

Hannah will be joined by Jonathan Busk Larsen on bass and Lasse Bitsch Jensen on barytone guitar when she is performing as support act for Sasha Adrian at Stengade on October 1st.
