Sea Ice land See - Mobile photo landscape installation

What do I see in Iceland, Ísafjörður? How do I see what I see? Can I hold what I sea? See. I-ce Sea. I sea what i see and Isa means Ice.
Ana Catalina Gubandru is taking instant shots of the landscape of Ísafjörður with a kid prompt print camera (analogue). Sometimes after she captures the landscape in front of her she turns the camera towards herself and takes a selfie at that very moment. The prints are pinned to a common pinboard. During the festival the board will travel around the city with the artist, changing locations, landscapes and audience.
The viewers can pick one print at their convenience and take it with them. It is a small piece of artwork, signed by the artist.
The artist’s project and presence at ArtsIceland was made possible by a Culture Moves Europe grant from the Goethe Institute.
