See ALEX AUBREY live at DOUGSTOCK SEVEN!!!!

Alex Aubrey is an Adelaide-based singer-songwriter whose indie-folk sound combines thoughtful storytelling, clever wordplay and a warm, understated sense of humour.

Drawing on influences from blues, jazz and swing, Alex writes songs that are lyrical, melodic and often quietly playful. Her original music moves comfortably between heartfelt observation and sharp turns of phrase, with a relaxed performance style that lets the songs take centre stage.

A regular performer across Adelaide, the southern coast and Fleurieu, Alex has become part of the region's growing live music and songwriting community. Her music has also taken her to stages including the Adelaide semi-final of the 2025 Songwriting Prize and the Fleurieu Folk Festival's 2026 Homegrown program.

Whether performing her original songs or reworking familiar material, Alex brings an easy warmth and natural storytelling quality to the stage, with a sound that sits somewhere between indie-folk, blues, jazz and swing.
