Welcome to a workshop led by Vilborg Bjarkadóttir.

In this sculpture workshop, we’re going to make monsters out of clay and use real false teeth! There’s no point in having monsters that can neither bite nor scratch. Who would be afraid of them then? Nobody -not even the monsters themselves!

Wait a minute… we’re going to make our very own monsters!

But how do we make monsters?

First of all, we have to surprise ourselves.

Secondly, we’re going to become real monster tamers!

Some monsters will be enormous, while others will be the size of a thumb. Some will have claws, horns, fur, and even teeth in both their upper and lower jaws. Others might have only two teeth—or perhaps just one!

Anything goes!

Don’t be startled if you see a vampire monster, a dragon monster, or a furry monster. We don’t need to be terribly frightened, though, because we are true monster tamers!
