Fans of indie rock are in for a treat as The Pigeon Detectives make their long awaited return to Bridlington Spa. 

The Leeds formed band will bring their infectious energy, anthemic choruses and high octane live show back to the Yorkshire coast, marking their first appearance at Bridlington Spa since they last rocked the venue in 2008. Nearly two decades on, The Pigeon Detectives remain one of the most exciting live bands to emerge from the UK indie scene. Bursting onto the scene with their 2007 debut album Wait for Me, the band quickly became known for their electrifying performances and a string of fan favourite tracks including “I Found Out”, “Take Her Back”, “Romantic Type” and “I’m Not Sorry”.

Their return to Bridlington promises to be a nostalgic trip for long time fans, as well as a chance for a new generation of gig goers to experience one of the UK's great live indie acts.

Joining The Pigeon Detectives as special guests are The Lilacs, the acclaimed indie rock outfit bringing their infectious energy and anthemic sound to the Bridlington Spa stage again after headlining This Feeling By The Sea in April. Fresh from making waves across the UK live scene, The Lilacs will get the crowd warmed up with a set packed with soaring melodies and feel good indie favourites.With Christmas just around the corner, the December date also offers the perfect opportunity to swap the festive playlists for some proper indie anthems and kick off the festive season in style.
