TOBY BEARD here from Australia! I am getting VERY excited to come and see you all in November for our AUTUMN LIGHTS EUROPEAN TOUR. We have a limited number of shows and tickets, so if you’re planning to come, please don’t leave it until the last minute — get in early!

This tour is going to be a little different to what you may have seen from us before. It’s going to be more intimate, more acoustic, full of harmonies, and we’ve put together a really special set list for these shows. I’m bringing a beautiful little band with me: Jake Hatch on electric guitar, bass, percussion, keys and backing vocals; Jussy Roberts on keys, kazoo, melodica, harmonica and backing vocals galore; and Nik Masotti on bass and backing vocals. They’re a very talented bunch and I absolutely cannot wait to get into a room with you all and play.

For those around Munich and Rosenheim, please do yourself a little road trip and come see us in Peissenberg — it’s worth the drive! If you normally see us around Homburg, Freisheim or Lambsheim, we’re heading to the Bürgerhaus in Althornbach this time. And if you are desperate for a ticket to our private Trier show, email me directly and I’ll see what I can do. We also have wonderful shows coming up in Knittlingen and Arnstadt.

And THE NETHERLANDS — we have three chances to see you! We start at Podiumcafe Toos in Beverwijk on 18 November, where we’ll be a five-piece with Josse Sharrard joining us on drums. Terheijden follows on 26 November at the beautiful Witte Kerkje, and then we finish the entire tour at De Barg in Boskoop on 29 November. Boskoop is always such a fun way to finish the tour and it’s going to be very GEZZZELIG! It’s kid-friendly too, so bring the whole family and help us fill the barn.

There is one thing I really want to ask of you this year. If you’ve seen us before, you probably know what happens. People come to a show, discover the music and afterwards tell us they’ve found their own little secret. Quite often they come back the following year and bring the same person with them. We absolutely LOVE that. But this year, we’d love you to bring someone new.

Four of us are travelling all the way from Australia to Europe to make this tour happen, and there are enormous costs involved in doing that. We do it because we love the music, we believe in what we’re doing and we love the connection we have with all of you. But we also need these tours to work, and a full room makes a huge difference.

So if you’ve already bought your ticket, THANK YOU! Now think about who else you could bring. Surprise a friend, bring your partner, take your parents, grab a workmate, or finally get that person through the door who you’ve been telling about us for years! And please share the tour —

put the poster on your socials, send it to your friends, text your

family or tag someone who should be there. Don’t assume everyone who would love this music already knows about the show… they don’t!

This is how we grow — not just by the people who already love the music coming back, but by those people introducing somebody new. So please don’t just come yourself. BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU. ❤️
