As modernity accelerates and more of our lives unfold between places, tasks and screens — ulga appears. A feeling of freedom after a long effort. A moment to exhale. A chance to land back in ourselves.
ulga / fró is a ten-day festival bringing together artists, organisers and cultural practitioners from Poland and Iceland. It is an invitation to experience contemporary Polish culture not as a fixed collection of works, but as a living network of relationships, stories, practices of care and ways of being together.

The festival is organised by Fundacja Bliżej Polski with funding from the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland under the programme "Senat – Polonia 2026", under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Reykjavík.
