Artificial intelligence and machine intelligence are topics that are being discussed more and more frequently, and they are the focus of this first Academic-café of the autumn season.
Is this phenomenon something we should be concerned about, or is it simply a valuable addition that saves us time and effort?
In her presentation, Saga Úlfarsdóttir discusses whether and how machine intelligence affects our daily lives, and especially our work. What happens when we gain a digital coworker? What impact will artificial intelligence have on us personally, on society, the workplace, and the future?
Saga Úlfarsdóttir is an engineer specializing in data science and artificial intelligence. She has worked as Head of AI at Travelshift and as a consultant within Advania’s AI team. She now runs her own consulting company, helping organizations adopt and use artificial intelligence responsibly.
Fræðakaffi (Academic-café) is a series of events held at the Reykjavík City Library in Spöngin, which has enjoyed great popularity.
