In the first Science School of the winter, on Wednesday, 2 September, we will explore what lies beneath our feet.
Júlía Kristín, a future geophysicist, will guide us deep into the Earth's interior with an engaging tour of the museum exhibition. Participants will also create their own geological models to take home.
There is no need to register for the Kópavogur Nature Museum's Science School, just come along! The programme takes place through open events where we learn about nature through interactive teaching.
The Science School is particularly suitable for children aged 8-12, but all curious minds are welcome. This event will take place in the geology section of the Nature Museum exhibition and runs from 16:30 to 17:15.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
