He’s said to be a family type. And this summer, we’ll be part of that family too. For years, he’s been making fun of things we all know a little too well – relationships, work, awkward moments and everyday absurdity. All it takes is a few chords and a punchline that hits harder than expected. Pokáč is one of the most distinctive Czech singer-songwriters of recent years, known for lyrics that people relate to – sometimes a bit too accurately. His audience spans adults and their kids alike, each for slightly different reasons. He first broke through online and continues to stay closely connected with his audience, both on the internet and on stage, where his shows are built on humor, perspective and an ability to react to what’s happening right now. On Saturday, he’ll open the Steel Stage and later stop by the ČEZ Family Park – this time for the youngest audience too.
