About
While others are preoccupied with finishing school, The Entitled Sons are investing every spare minute of their youth in their family band project. The four brothers – Billy, Charlie, Rafferty and Laurie – are still in their teens, but alongside their father Graham they play remarkably skilful alternative rock that incorporates elements of blues, indie pop and electronic experimentations. Four years ago, their debut single “Bleak” (2022) stormed the iTunes charts, propelling the band from obscurity to acclaim – the sort of act you might hear only once every few decades at best. Only their ambition is stronger than their bond. After winning the Pilton Stage Competition, the father-and-sons team made their way to Glastonbury Festival, leaving the audience stunned and earning rave reviews in the British music press. Singles like “Maybe” and “Another Liar” (2024) subsequently racked up hundreds of thousands of streams, clearing the way for a band that’s setting itself up to play the planet’s biggest stadiums – far removed from fleeting trends, and armed with plenty of talent and perseverance. Since the release of their debut album “No Clue” (2025) last year, one thing is certain: they’re ready. So it’s high time they played their first gig in Germany – here in Hamburg, of course.
