Stina Agustsdottir, also known as Stina August, was born and raised in Iceland, but has lived in Iceland, Denmark, England, Canada and now resides in Stockholm, Sweden.

Amongst Stina's achievements in her career she has been voted as one of the top ten local jazz acts in Montreal, twice. She has performed at the Reykjavík Jazz Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival and regularly performs in Iceland and Sweden with well known Icelandic and Swedish jazz musicians (Max Schultz, Petur Östlund, Sigurdur Flosason, Einar Scheving etc.) Stina  released her third solo album in December 2016, Jazz á íslensku (Jazz inIcelandic), that is a collection of jazz standards and folk songs in jazz arrangements with lyrics in Icelandic. Jazz á íslensku got nominated as best album in blues and jazz at the Icelandic music prize 2016. Currently Stina is working on her next original solo album and performing regularly in Sweden and Iceland as a solo artist and with Björkologi (Björk songs in jazz arrangments).
